Shoprider's Transit Tie-Down Kit (Unoccupied) adds tie-down points to a Shoprider power chair so it can be strapped down in a vehicle while nobody is sitting in it. Shoprider makes a kit for the Jimmie and Smartie, one for the Streamer Sport, and one for the 6Runner 10 and 6Runner 14.
Shoprider's unoccupied transit tie-down kit gives your power chair secure points for tie-down straps in a van or vehicle.
What stands out
When a power chair rides in a van or on a lift platform, it needs fixed points for the tie-down straps. Shoprider's kit adds those points to the frame. It is rated for an empty chair: it secures the chair while nobody is sitting in it, and it is not for riding in the chair in a moving vehicle. Pick the kit for your chair: one for the Jimmie and Smartie, one for the Streamer Sport, and one for the 6Runner 10 and 6Runner 14.
