What stands out
A quick release axle is the pin that holds a rear wheel in the chair, and it has to match the chair in two ways, the diameter and the length. This one is 1/2" in diameter, the size Spinergy's hubs with 1/2" bearings take, and it comes in five lengths. Spinergy makes it entirely of stainless steel, so rust is not a worry, and the Nylock nut lets you set the grip length so the wheel has no side play. Spinergy's titanium axle does the same job at a lower weight and a higher price, and Spinergy gives no weight for either one, so the steel axle is the sensible pick unless you know you want titanium. Measure the axles you have now before you order, because axles cannot be returned. A hub with 12mm bearings or a 5/8" R10 hub does not take this axle.

Axles cannot be returned. Check the diameter and the length on this page before you order. If they arrive damaged or defective, tell us within 48 hours of delivery and we will get them repaired or replaced at no cost to you.
