The TC Max is the oval version of Spinergy's TC stainless steel handrim, with the same lightly embossed texture. It is sold as a pair in four sizes.
What stands out
The TC Max is the TC handrim made oval, and the shape is the reason to pay more for it. Spinergy says the wider, oval surface eases tension in the hands and wrists and lowers the effort it takes to grip, and that it ends the habit of pushing on the tire. The surface is the same embossed stainless steel as the TC, which Spinergy says adds grip without friction, stays cool in hot sun and hides scratches. It has no coating, and Spinergy describes the TC as a handrim for hands with full function, so a coated handrim serves a weak grip better. Spinergy publishes no weight for it, so weight is not a reason to choose it. Check the size before you order, because handrims cannot be returned. It is made in 22" to 26" and not in 20" or 700c. Spinergy does not list mounting screws with the handrims, so plan to reuse the ones on your wheels.

Handrims cannot be returned. Check the size on this page before you order. If they arrive damaged or defective, tell us within 48 hours of delivery and we will get them repaired or replaced at no cost to you.
