What stands out
This is the 1/2" Spinergy axle with a titanium shaft, and weight is the only reason to pay more for it than for the steel one. Spinergy calls it very light and gives no weight for it or for the steel axle, so the saving is not a figure we can give you. It is a small part, and a pair of axles is a small share of the weight of a chair. The inner spindle, the springs and the balls are stainless steel, which Spinergy says keeps rust out of the moving parts, and the Nylock nut lets you set the grip length so the wheel has no side play. It comes in the same five lengths as the steel axle. Measure the axles you have now before you order, because axles cannot be returned. A hub with 12mm bearings or a 5/8" R10 hub does not take this axle.

Axles cannot be returned. Check the diameter and the length on this page before you order. If they arrive damaged or defective, tell us within 48 hours of delivery and we will get them repaired or replaced at no cost to you.
