The XSLX R10 is the cross-laced XSLX with larger bearings for a 5/8" axle. It is sold as a pair in 24", 25", 26" and 700c, with a red or a black hub, in nine spoke colors.

The Hieline Take
The XSLX R10 is the XSLX built around a thicker axle. The hub carries larger bearings for a 5/8" axle, which is less likely to bend under a heavy hit than the usual 1/2", and the wheel keeps the 24 cross-laced 4mm spokes of the XSLX. Spinergy makes it for impact sports and WCMX. It also comes with a red or a black hub on every spoke color. It fits only a chair with 5/8" axle receivers, so check that first. One thing to know before you buy a wheel for sport: Spinergy's written warranty names basketball, quad rugby, tennis and similar sports as misuse and does not cover damage from them, and it makes no exception for its sport wheels. Read that against what you plan to do with the wheels. They arrive bare, so handrims, tires, tubes and axles are separate, and wheels cannot be returned.

Wheels cannot be returned. Check the size, the hub and the spoke color on this page before you order. If they arrive damaged or defective, tell us within 48 hours of delivery and we will get them repaired or replaced at no cost to you.

Is the price for one wheel or for a pair?
For a pair. One unit in the cart is two wheels.
What comes in the box?
Two wheels with their hubs and bearings. Handrims, tires, tubes and axles are not included.
What is the R10 hub?
A hub with larger bearings for a 5/8" axle. A 5/8" axle is thicker than the usual 1/2" axle and is less likely to bend in a hard hit. Your chair must have 5/8" axle receivers to use it.
Which hub does it have, and will it fit my sport chair?
Every Spinergy sport hub measures 2.3" from the outside of one bearing to the outside of the other. What differs is the axle. This wheel takes the axle size shown on this page, and Spinergy's list of sport chair makes for that axle is in the specifications. Measure the axle on your chair before you order, because wheels cannot be returned.
Which size do I need?
The size on your chair now. Read the number on the tire sidewall: 540 is a 24" wheel, 559 is a 25" wheel, 590 is a 26" wheel and 622 is a 700c wheel.
Which axle length do I need?
Axles are not included, and you can add a pair under "Add axles" on this page. The length depends on your chair. Spinergy's axle chart gives these lengths for a 5/8" axle. 4.25": Melrose and Reckless. 4.75": Box, Invacare, Top End, Quickie, Vesco and P4X. RGK chairs take 5.12". Spinergy's price list has no 5/8" axle in 5.12", so that length is not offered on this page. A Quickie more than 10 years old takes 0.25" less. If your chair is not on the chart, the length depends on two things: the length of the axle receiver in your camber tube, and the distance from the outside of one hub bearing to the outside of the other. Measure both and you have the axle length.
Which tires fit?
A wheelchair tire in the matching size. Read the size on the sidewall of the tire you have now and order the same one.
Does the warranty cover use in sports?
Spinergy's written warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship for 1 year. It names basketball, quad rugby, tennis and similar sports as misuse and does not cover damage from them, and it makes no exception for a sport wheel. Crash and impact damage is not covered on any wheel.
Why fiber spokes and not steel?
Spinergy rates its PBO fiber at three times the strength of steel and half the weight, and the fiber absorbs 25% more shock and vibration than a steel spoke.
Why do the photographs show a red hub?
Spinergy photographs the XSLX R10 with its red hub only. With "Black hub" you get the same wheel with the hub in black.
What maintenance do the wheels need?
Keep them clean. Now and then take the wheels off the chair, pull the axle and wipe the bearings, the hub and the axle with a dry rag. The bearings are sealed and need no grease. Check that the spokes are tight, the rim is undamaged and the tires hold their pressure.
What is the warranty?
Spinergy warrants the wheels for 1 year from the date of purchase against defects in materials and workmanship, for the original owner. Keep your receipt. Bearing wear, crash damage and damage from sports are not covered.

No. Wheels cannot be returned, so check the size, the hub and the spoke color before you order. If they arrive damaged or defective, tell us within 48 hours of delivery.
