What stands out
The Comfort is the chair to buy for its backrest. A standard folding wheelchair hangs a flat sling between the posts, and after an hour it has let you slide into a slump. Strongback built this frame around a curved backrest with an adjustable support at the lower back, so you sit upright without working at it. The rest is a sensible everyday chair: attendant brakes on the handles for whoever pushes, 24" wheels that come off with a button, and a 300 lbs. capacity. The trade is weight. It weighs 27.4 lbs. complete, which puts it in the lightweight class, and with the wheels off the frame you lift into the car is 16.6 lbs. Choose the 18" seat unless your hips need the 20", because every inch of seat adds an inch to the width of the chair.
