What stands out
This is the larger of SuperHandy's two 48V batteries, and for a scooter rider it is the answer to the Explorer's short range. The Explorer comes with two 48V 2Ah batteries. Each holds 88.8 Wh, and SuperHandy's manual rates one at 5 miles per charge. This 4Ah battery holds 177.6 Wh, which is twice as much, in a pack that weighs 2.7 lbs. and slides into the same slot. A gauge of four lights shows the charge at the press of a button, and the pack has protection against overcharging, short circuits and overheating. It recharges in about 2 hours. A charger is not included, so it charges on the charger that came with the scooter. SuperHandy lists it for the Explorer GUT161 and for several of its 48V outdoor tools, and the full list is in the specifications. It is not on SuperHandy's list for the Tugger.
