It carries 750 lbs. in total, which leaves room for a person of up to 650 lbs. with the mattress and rails on, and it comes in 84" lengths for a tall sleeper. At 12.75" the deck is low enough to sit down onto from a wheelchair, and at 24.75" a caregiver can work without bending, and Transfer Master states it works with most patient lift systems. Three things are worth knowing before you order. The hand control that comes with the bed moves the head, the foot and the height, and it does not tilt the bed into Trendelenburg. The bed weighs about 406 lbs. before the mattress and arrives in one box on a pallet, so most buyers will want white glove delivery. A mattress cannot be returned once it is delivered, so settle the size and the length before you buy.

Free shipping, delivered to your door. The bed ships by freight mostly assembled in one large box on a pallet, two for a king. The carrier sets it down at your door. The bed weighs about 406 lbs. before the mattress, so getting it inside, unpacking it and setting it up is a job for at least two people, and it is yours to do. Measure your doorways and hallways against the bed's width before you order. Setting it up means rolling the bed off the pallet on its casters, fitting the three mattress retainer bars and any rails or headboard, and putting the mattress on. A mattress, rails or a headboard you order add to what has to be carried in.
White glove delivery, $495. A delivery team brings the bed into the room you choose, sets it up there and checks that it works before they leave. Choose it if there are not at least two people at home who can move the bed and set it up.
Check every box when it arrives. If one is damaged, note it on the carrier's delivery receipt before you sign and tell us within 48 hours. You choose the delivery in the buy box, and white glove delivery is its own line at checkout. Delivery is to the 48 continental states.
