What stands out
The Recon Mini replaces a hand pump with a compressor that fits in a pocket and weighs about 120 g. You set the pressure you want, press the button, and it stops by itself when the tire gets there, which matters on a wheelchair because a soft tire makes every push harder. VIAIR makes it for bicycles and Spinergy sells it for wheelchair tires. It comes with a brass Presta head and a Schrader hose, so it fits both valve types. Know its limits before you buy. It stops at 120 psi, so a tire rated above that will not reach its full pressure. A full charge runs it for 5 to 7 minutes, which VIAIR puts at about three road bicycle tires from flat. VIAIR gives its noise as 78 dB, and VIAIR's user manual warns that the attachments can get very hot after 45 seconds of running. It has vents, so keep it out of heavy rain and mud. It cannot be returned.
