What stands out
The Phoenix II is a power chair first and a standing chair second. You drive it from one joystick all day, and when you want to stand, the same joystick raises you and lets you creep along at one fifth of top speed, which is enough to work along a counter or talk to someone at eye level without parking first. The backrest also reclines 25 degrees for rest. Two things decide whether it fits. The first is medical, since the manual asks every rider to see a doctor or physical therapist first and names strong contractures and osteoporosis as reasons not to stand. The second is travel, because a chair this size goes in a van by ramp or lift. If you need to lie flat or raise your legs as well, the Draco adds both. Within those limits it gives you a 14", 16" or 18" seat, about 18.5 miles of range and a capacity of 250 lbs.
