What stands out
This is the most expensive accessory on the Model C2 and it is aimed at one specific problem: a footplate position that does not suit your leg length. A plate set too high pushes the knees up and moves weight onto the back of the thighs. A plate set too low leaves the feet dangling and the whole leg unsupported. Neither is a comfort preference, both cause real pain over a day, and neither is fixable on the standard plate. If the chair fits you as it came, leave this alone. If you have been putting a cushion under your feet, or you have been told your seat-to-footplate distance is wrong, this is the part that fixes it properly. It replaces the standard plate rather than adding to it.
