What stands out
The Wonder Rollator HD is the answer when the 250 lbs. rating on the rest of the compact line is not enough. It carries 450 lbs. on an extra-wide 21" W X 10" D seat, which is a good deal more seat than the 18.5" W X 6" D on the Wonder Rollator, and it still folds down to 10" x 16" so it goes in a car. The 8" wheels are the other real difference. They roll over thresholds and uneven pavement that stop a 6" wheel, and the handle height runs from 31" to 38.25", which is a wider range than the 33" to 36" on the standard Wonder Rollator. What you give up is weight and money. It weighs 30 lbs. against 14.5 lbs. for the Wonder Rollator, so lifting it into a trunk is a real lift, and at $440 it costs $171 more. It comes in black walnut and regal rose and carries a one year warranty.
