The 30" Safety Bed Rail gives you a wide guard rail against falls and a support handle for getting in and out of bed. The rail pivots down 180 degrees when you want the side of the bed clear. It stands 23" above the mattress base with a 3" gap between rails, fits a 6" to 16" mattress, secures with a safety strap, and holds up to 300 lbs.

What stands out
Buy this one for reach and fit. It stands 23" above the mattress base, the tallest of the ten Stander rails, and it fits mattresses 6 to 16" thick, the widest window in the line. Most of the others are far narrower: the Click-N-Go rails take only 10 to 12" and the Wonder Pivot takes 8 to 12. The rail pivots down 180 degrees when you want the bedside clear, and it costs $120.
What you give up is adjustment. The rail is a fixed 30". The EZ Adjust covers 20 to 30" for $1 less, and the Wonder Pivot sets to 26, 32 or 38.5". Capacity is 300 lbs. where the Prime Safety Bed Rail carries 400, and the handle does not lift off.
If you are not sure your mattress depth will suit a rail, this is the safe buy, because 6 to 16" covers nearly every bed. If you need the rail to change length, look at the Wonder Pivot Bed Rail. If you need more than 300 lbs., look at the Prime Safety Bed Rail.
