The Assist-A-Tray puts a sturdy handle and a swivel tray beside your chair, so you have something to hold when you sit down or stand up and a surface to eat or work from. The 20" x 15" tray swivels and pivots a full 360 degrees, and it carries a cup holder and a utensil compartment. The handle takes up to 250 lbs. and the tray takes up to 15 lbs. Tray height adjusts from 26" to 32", handle height from 34.5" to 40.5", and the base widens from 19" to 32.5" to fit the chair you already have.

The Assist-A-Tray does two jobs at once. You get a 20 by 15" tray that swivels and pivots 360 degrees with a cup holder and a utensil compartment, and a support handle for sitting and standing, on a base that adjusts 19 to 32.5" to slide under a chair. The handle reaches 34.5 to 40.5", taller than the Wonder Tray Plus at 36, and the tray sets between 26 and 32".
Two things you should know before you buy. Stander publishes no weight rating for this handle. The Wonder Tray Plus and the Wonder Tray Premium both state 250 lbs., and this one states nothing at all, so we cannot tell you what it holds and we will not guess. The warranty is also 1 year here, where both Wonder Trays carry lifetime.
If you want a tall handle and a tray together at the lowest price, this is $169. If you want a published weight rating and a lifetime warranty behind the handle, the Wonder Tray Plus is $200. If you do not need a handle at all, the EZ Swivel Overbed Table is $140.
