Pulling two pins turns the 6' ramp into two sections of about 15 lbs. each, so it goes into a trunk or up a set of stairs without a second pair of hands. The black grit surface grips well in rain, and EZ-ACCESS rates the 5' and 6' for some minivans and SUVs as well as porch steps. Check the rise first, since that decides the length and the length decides the price.

Which length do I need?
Plan on about 1' of ramp for every 1" of rise, which is the ADA's 1:12 slope. EZ-ACCESS notes that a steeper slope can work at home when a helper pushes or the ramp is used unoccupied, and your chair or scooter manual gives the steepest slope it is rated for. Never go steeper than that.
How do the two halves come apart?
Remove the two hinge pins and the ramp separates into two sections. They go back together the same way.
Why is there no 4' on this page?
We list the 2', 3', 5' and 6' lengths only.
How is it held in place?
The fixed top plate takes the clevis pins or screws supplied with the ramp.
Does the warranty cover the black surface?
No. The EZ-ACCESS lifetime warranty covers the ramp's parts and excludes applied non-skid surfaces.
Does it work with the Top Lip Extension?
Yes. The Top Lip Extension fits every aluminum SUITCASE ramp and lowers the ramp's capacity to 500 lbs. while it is fitted.
