What stands out
The Freedom is the overbed table with the bigger surface. Its tray is 23.5 by 15", three and a half inches wider than the 20 by 15 on the EZ Swivel Overbed Table, and it swivels on an arm that pivots 360 degrees. It comes with a faux-leather organizer pouch and a cup holder.
That extra width is the whole difference, and it costs $59. Everything else measures the same as the EZ Swivel: 44" tall, a 7" base, a 20 lbs. tray rating, 19 lbs. on the scale and a 2 year warranty. Like the EZ Swivel it has no support handle, so it will not help you stand.
If you use the table for a laptop and a plate at the same time, the wider tray earns the $59. If 20 by 15" is enough surface, the EZ Swivel Overbed Table does everything else identically for $140. If what you need is something to push up from, look at the Wonder Tray Plus.
