Most full size power wheelchairs are not, and that is the real limit of this lift. What is not covered
The three year term runs from the date of installation and from the date of retail purchase. Harmar states that the warranty is transferable only where the application is approved by Harmar's Compatibility Calculator, so a lift fitted to a vehicle that was never checked may not carry a transferable warranty.
If something goes wrong
Call us first at 1-855-HIELINE. We file the claim with Harmar for you and get the covered part sorted out rather than handing you a phone number. The base warranty covers parts, so ask us about service and labor options when you call.
Returns
A hoist lift cannot be returned. It is fitted to your vehicle, wired into it and in many installations drilled into it, so once that work is done the unit is matched to one car and it has no second life on the shelf. This is exactly why the steps beside this panel exist. They settle the mounting, the adapter and the plate riser before you order.
A unit that arrives damaged or faulty is a different matter and is covered above. Contact us before anyone begins the installation.

The base adapter is the plate the lift bolts to inside the vehicle. Harmar includes the universal one and it suits most vehicles. Five named adapters are offered for this model in the step headed Base adapter, covering truck beds, Stow-N-Go seating and particular Ford, Toyota, GMC and Chevrolet vehicles, and choosing one of those replaces the universal adapter on your order.
Not if you add the battery pack in the step headed Accessories. It runs the lift from its own battery with its own charger, and use it where a hybrid or electric vehicle has no 12 volt battery able to power a mobility lift.
The passenger side. Harmar builds the AL215 with an offset post that delivers your wheelchair or scooter to the side of the vehicle, and the passenger side is the standard build. A vehicle lift cannot be returned once it is fitted, so call us on 1-855-HIELINE before you order if you need it to load from the driver side.

Most chairs and scooters lift either by the centre seat post or by the four post seat frame. Choose the one that matches yours and we confirm the exact part with you before your order ships.

This answer decides how much you have to work out yourself. A hoist lift is wired into the vehicle and bolted to a base inside it, so it is fitted rather than unpacked.
