Harmar AL600 Classic
The AL600 Classic is a hybrid platform lift, which means the platform comes all the way down to the ground rather than asking the device to be lifted by a hook. You drive or push the chair on at curb level, press the button, and it rides up and into the cargo area. It carries up to 350 lbs., it weighs 179 lbs. installed, and the platform measures 28.5" x 38", or 28.5" x 45" once the 7" wheel cradle is fitted. Securement is four cam buckle straps, so there is no docking device to buy. It fits crossovers, minivans, SUVs and vans, it leaves the second row seating usable, and it needs no drilling in most vehicles.

It needs 32" of headroom and 44" of depth. Those two numbers decide whether it fits your vehicle, and a vehicle lift cannot be returned once it is fitted, so take the tape to it first.
The AL600 answers a different question from every other lift we carry. A hitch lift or a hoist asks you to hook the chair and swing it, and it leaves the device outside in the weather or takes up the bed of a truck. This one brings a platform to the ground, you roll the chair on, and it rides inside the vehicle with you. For someone loading a heavy power chair alone, that is a real difference in effort rather than a specification difference.
The number that decides it is not the capacity, it is the cargo area. It needs 32" of headroom and 44" of depth, and the lift itself puts 179 lbs. permanently in that space. Measure both before you buy, because this cannot be sent back once it is fitted. If it fits, the 350 lbs. rating covers most power wheelchairs comfortably.
The quiet advantage over the hoist lifts is that securement is included. Four cam buckle straps come in the box, so there is no docking device to match to your chair and no second cost to find at the end.
Look at the AL690 instead if the lift needs to work at a side door rather than the rear. Look at the hitch mounted lifts if you would rather keep the cargo area completely free.

What is not covered
The three year term runs from the date of installation and from the date of retail purchase. Harmar states that the warranty is transferable only where the application is approved by Harmar's Compatibility Calculator, so a lift fitted to a vehicle that was never checked may not carry a transferable warranty.
If something goes wrong
Call us first at 1-855-HIELINE. We file the claim with Harmar for you and get the covered part sorted out rather than handing you a phone number. The base warranty covers parts, so ask us about service and labor options when you call.
Returns
A hybrid platform lift cannot be returned. It is fitted to your vehicle, wired into it and in many installations drilled into it, so once that work is done the unit is matched to one car and it has no second life on the shelf. This is exactly why the steps beside this panel exist. They settle the mounting, the adapter and the plate riser before you order.
