The Hoyer Deluxe Stand-Aid Clip Sling is the Deluxe Stand-Aid standing sling with clips in place of loops. It goes around the back, just above the waist, and clips to the lift with the Securi3 clip system. The Hoyer Up manual names it as the sling to add when a person needs more security and support on the Up. Joerns says a standing sling is a special purpose sling for a person with a good degree of weight bearing. The Hoyer Up has clip attachment pins for it. The Hoyer Elevate takes it only when it has the clip style spreader bar. The safe working load is 440 lbs., and the lift's own capacity still applies. Joerns asks that a competent person assesses the person, the sling and the transfer before any sling is used.
