Hoyer HPL700 6-Point Loop Spreader Bar with Scale

This is the 6-point loop spreader bar of the HPL700 with a scale built into it, item 27 of the HPL700 service parts manual. The HPL700 ships with a Bari loop bar for the Hoyer Bari slings. The HPL700 manual names the slings for the optional 6-point standard spreader bar as the Hoyer Full Back, Quickfit, Quickfit Deluxe, Access, Long Seat, Repositioning, Twin Turner and Limb slings. The scale weighs the person while they hang in the sling. Joerns describes the scale as easy to use with intuitive controls, NAWI Class III rated and suited to patient monitoring, and says it does not compromise lifting height. The Joerns price list calls the bar low profile and rates it at 750 lbs. The lift itself carries 700 lbs. and each sling has its own limit, so the lowest of the three numbers is the one that counts. Joerns asks that the kingpin is never taken off the spreader bar, with or without the scale. Joerns names this part only for the HPL700.
