This part adds a scale to an HPL700 that was bought without one. It weighs the person while they hang in the sling, which saves moving a larger person onto a separate scale. Joerns describes the scale as easy to use with intuitive controls, NAWI Class III rated and suited to patient monitoring, and says it does not compromise lifting height. The Joerns price list calls it the digital scale for the HPL700. The HPL700 service parts manual lists the same part number as the cradle with scale for the white lift, item 23, and draws it as the Bari loop spreader bar with the scale on it, which is the second picture on this page. The HPL700-S2 is the white lift. Joerns asks that the kingpin is never taken off the spreader bar, with or without the scale.
