What stands out
This part combines the two upgrades Joerns makes for the Presence. The power cradle moves the person toward a reclined or an upright position from buttons in its handle, and the scale weighs the person while they hang in the sling. The cradle carries 500 lbs., rotates 360 degrees and takes Hoyer Comfort slings with Securi3 clips. It runs on its own 24V NiMH battery, which charges in about 6 hours. Joerns describes the scale as easy to use with intuitive controls, NAWI Class III rated and suited to patient monitoring, and says it does not compromise lifting height. The display and the controls are on both sides, so the caregiver reads it from either side of the lift. A Recall function stores the last reading, one button changes pounds to kilograms, and it runs on a standard 9V battery. The manual of the power cradle lists two batteries, a charger and two boom caps with the cradle. Joerns publishes no separate contents list for this version with the scale, so contact us before you order if the contents matter. Joerns names this part only for the Presence.
