What stands out
The Presence is the full-size Hoyer sling lift, for a larger person or for a home where the lift is used many times a day. It carries 500 lbs. on an aluminum frame that weighs 88.2 lbs. The spreader bar travels from 16.9" to 75.2", so it picks a person up from the floor and still clears a high bed. The base legs open and close from the hand control, which saves the caregiver from bending to a pedal with a person in the sling. The Smart Monitor on the control box counts lifts, stops the lift on an overload and shows when service is due. The battery pack lifts off and charges on its own stand in about 4 hours. The trade against the Hoyer Advance is size. The Presence does not fold, and it needs a turning radius of 64.2". It ships with a 6-point spreader bar and without a sling.
