The Invacare Reliant Full Body Mesh Sling supports the whole body, head and neck included, on a floor lift. The mesh can be used wet or dry, so it works for bathing. It holds up to 450 lbs., comes in medium and large, and fits the Invacare Reliant 450 and Reliant 600.

What stands out
A full body sling is the choice when the person cannot help with the transfer at all. It carries the head and neck, so it suits someone who is totally dependent, cannot bear weight, is very heavy or has little head control, and it also works for an amputee lifted in a reclined position. This version is open mesh polyester, and like every Reliant sling it can be used wet or dry. It moves a person from bed to wheelchair, toilet or shower chair, and it also lifts a person from the floor back to bed. Choose the size by weight and build from the chart. If you need a commode opening, look at the Full Body Commode Sling, and for someone above 450 lbs., the Heavy-Duty Full Body Sling goes to 600 lbs.
