The Adventure is the scooter for someone who wants a real seat and a 300 lbs. rating at a price under a thousand dollars, and who has someone able to lift 33 lbs. into a trunk. It breaks into five pieces with no tools, and the full-swivel height-adjustable seat with flip-back padded armrests is the kind of seating that usually costs more. Four wheels and a 270 watt rear-wheel motor handle sidewalks, shops and parks comfortably. The trade-off is the battery. A 24V 15Ah sealed lead-acid pack weighs 20 lbs. on its own, takes 6 to 14 hours to charge, and keeps this scooter off aircraft, where the lithium models travel freely. The 51.1" turning radius is also wide for tight indoor work. For a buyer who drives to where they need to go and reassembles at the other end, it does a great deal for the money.

Warranty and returns
The Journey Adventure Scooter is covered by Journey Health & Lifestyle's own limited warranty, published by Journey Health & Lifestyle as follows.

What is not covered
Normal wear items are not covered. That includes tires, belts, bulbs, upholstery, plastic shrouds, motor brushes and fuses. The warranty also does not cover labor or service calls, or damage caused by misuse or accident.
Servicing the controller, the battery or the battery charger has to be done by an authorized Journey provider. Opening or dismantling any of those three voids the guarantee on that item.

Call us first at 1-855-HIELINE. We file the claim with Journey Health & Lifestyle for you and get the covered part sorted out rather than handing you a phone number. The base warranty covers parts, so ask us about service and labor options when you call.
Returns
This mobility scooter may be returned within 30 days of delivery if it is unused and in the original packaging. Contact us before starting a return. A mobility scooter that has been used or is missing original packaging is not eligible for return. See our return policy for complete details.

Curbside is the free option. The mobility scooter ships from the manufacturer straight to your address. Allow about two to three days for the order to be processed and shipped, then about five more in transit depending on where you live. No carrier in this trade quotes an exact date, so treat both figures as estimates rather than promises. It arrives boxed at the curb, and getting it inside is yours to arrange.
This one comes in a single box and the setup is not hard. The box goes through a normal doorway and most people manage it on their own. The free option is a fair choice here.
