The SoftSecure Rotating Shower Chair has a padded seat that turns a full 360° and locks in place, so you can sit down facing out of the tub or shower and then turn to face the water. The arms flip back, the legs adjust without tools, and it carries 300 lbs.
A padded shower chair with a seat that rotates 360° and locks every 90°, flip-back arms, a rust-resistant aluminum frame, push-button height adjustment and a 300 lbs. rating.
What stands out
The rotating seat is the reason to choose this chair. You sit down while facing the open side of the tub or shower, then turn the seat to face the water, so you do not have to twist your body or swing your legs around. The seat locks every 90°, and the arms flip back when you need to slide on or off from the side. The seat and back are padded foam with Microban protection. The whole chair stands inside the tub or shower, so it does not help you over a high tub wall. If stepping over the tub edge is the hard part, the SoftSecure Rotating Transfer Bench straddles the wall and slides you across for $70 more. If you want one chair that also works as a commode, look at the SoftSecure 3-in-1 Commode Chair.
