The Pioneer 4 sits in the middle of the Merits scooter range and it is the sensible choice rather than the exciting one. You get 400 lbs. of capacity, a full captain seat with height, width and angle adjustment on the armrests, turn signals, and a range that covers an ordinary day out. What you give up against the Pioneer 9 and 10 is speed, range and turning circle, and what you gain is about a thousand dollars and 60 lbs. less scooter to deal with. At 189 lbs. total with a 97 lbs. heaviest piece it still is not going in a car, so treat it as a machine that lives at one address. If you want the same idea on three wheels with a tighter turn, we do not carry the three-wheel version of this frame.

What is not covered
Wear items are not covered. Those are tires and tubes, fuses and bulbs, battery cases, plastic and rubber parts, motor brushes, brake pads, upholstery including seat and arm pads, and painted surfaces including shrouds and fenders. Accidents, acts of nature, and loss or theft are not covered either.
If something goes wrong
Call us first at 1-855-HIELINE. We file the claim with Merits Health for you and get the covered part sorted out rather than handing you a phone number. The base warranty covers parts, so ask us about service and labor options when you call.
Returns
This mobility scooter may be returned within 30 days of delivery if it is unused and in the original packaging. Contact us before starting a return. A mobility scooter that has been used or is missing original packaging is not eligible for return. See our return policy for complete details.
