What stands out
This is a dignity purchase as much as a safety one. Without the cutout, washing properly means standing up in a wet tub, or being lifted by somebody else, and both are things people avoid until hygiene suffers. The cutout removes the choice between the two. Against a plain seat with arms you pay nothing at all for it: this is $69.95 without a back, the same as our deluxe seat with arms. The trade is a slightly smaller sitting surface, because the cutout takes material out of the front of the seat, which a rider who slides forward should know before ordering.
