On most lift chair ranges, a wider seat means a bigger chair, which means a taller back and a higher seat, which is wrong for a shorter person. Pride's Petite Wide breaks that link. It covers the same height range as the Small, 5'4" and under, and gives you a 24" seat at the same 400 lbs. capacity. If you are short and you want room, this is the size, and very few chairs in this price range offer it. Against the Tranquil 2, you are paying for heat. Against the Ultra, you are saving the cost of a massage system and the tilt. If neither of those matters to you, this is the chair.

What is not covered
Fabric is not covered. Pride does not pay for labor, service calls, shipping, or other charges incurred to repair the chair unless Pride authorizes them in advance. Transportation costs, and any shipping damage that happens while parts are sent in for repair or replacement, are the purchaser's responsibility.
The warranty also does not cover circumstances beyond Pride's control, or repairs and modifications made to any part without Pride's consent. Damage is not covered when it comes from contamination, abuse, misuse, accident or negligence, battery fluid spillage or leakage, improper operation, maintenance or storage, or commercial use or use other than normal.
If something goes wrong
Call us first at 1-855-HIELINE. We file the claim with Pride Mobility for you and get the covered part sorted out rather than handing you a phone number. The base warranty covers parts, so ask us about service and labor options when you call.

Lift chairs cannot be returned. New or used, a lift chair is a personal medical device built and configured specifically for the person who ordered it. That is why every size and fabric figure is on this page, and why we answer questions before you place the order.

Pride matches the size to the user's height. Small and Petite Wide both suit 5'4" and below, Medium suits 5'5" to 6'1", and Large/Tall suits 6'2" and above. Seat width runs 20" on the Small, 24" on the Petite Wide, 22.5" on the Medium and 23.5" on the Large/Tall.
It is built for a shorter user who needs a wider seat. It sits in the same height band as the Small and gives the widest seat in the range at 24", with a seat depth of 18" and a seat height of 19.5".
It has heat and it has no massage. The heat system uses three pads, in the shoulders, the lumbar and the seat. Pride builds both heat and massage into the VivaLift Ultra, and we carry that chair.
Overall width is 37" on the Small, 41" on the Petite Wide, 39" on the Medium and 40" on the Large/Tall. Clearance behind the chair is 15" on the Small, 14" on the Petite Wide, 15" on the Medium and 21.5" on the Large/Tall. The Large/Tall stands 49" high.
The chair keeps working. A lithium battery backup runs it through a power cut, including raising it to the standing position. The battery pack carries a 12 month warranty.

Pride builds this chair in four sizes. Three of them are matched to the user's height and the fourth is a wider seat at a shorter height.
Small suits 5'4" and below. Petite Wide covers the same height band and gives a 24" seat, which is the widest in the range. Medium suits 5'5" to 6'1". Large/Tall suits 6'2" and above.
Start with height, because it sets where the seat, the back and the footrest meet your body. Then check the seat width, which runs 20" on the Small, 24" on the Petite Wide, 22.5" on the Medium and 23.5" on the Large/Tall. Measure the widest part of your hips and leave yourself room on both sides.
Last, check the room itself. The chair is 37 to 41" wide overall, and it needs 21.5" of clearance behind it on the Large/Tall against 14 to 15" on the other three.

Curbside is the free option. The lift chair ships from the manufacturer straight to your address. Allow about two to three days for the order to be processed and shipped, then about five more in transit depending on where you live. No carrier in this trade quotes an exact date, so treat both figures as estimates rather than promises. It arrives boxed at the curb, and getting it inside is yours to arrange.
Inside delivery means we bring it just inside your front door or into the garage, still in its packaging.
White glove takes a different route. It does not come to your address first. It ships to the delivery technician nearest you, and once it arrives there the technician calls you and books a time that suits you, then brings it into your home, sets it up in the room you choose, checks it for shipping damage and takes all the packaging away. That extra leg adds a few days, and the date is settled between you and the technician, so we cannot give you one up front.
Which one you take is up to you. Some people are glad to unpack a new lift chair and set it up themselves. Others would rather it arrived working, in the room they want it, with the packaging gone. Both are good reasons, and each card shows what it costs.
