Three heat pads sit in the shoulders, the lumbar and the seat, with three levels. The massage works the lower back with three intensity settings. The buttons are on the inside of the armrest.
VivaLift Tilt
Pride's own tilt reclines the chair so your knees end up above your heart. It is the position people mean when they talk about taking the load off their legs.
Power headrest and power lumbar
Both adjust independently from the remote, so you can set the neck and the lower back separately rather than accepting one shape.
Lithium battery backup

Buy the Ultra for the massage and the tilt, or do not buy the Ultra. That sounds blunt, so here is the arithmetic behind it. The Radiance gives you the same 400 lbs. capacity, the same true infinite positioning, the same power headrest and lumbar, the same lithium backup and the same heat system, for several hundred dollars less. What the Ultra adds is the massage system, three intensity settings on the lower back, and VivaLift Tilt, which reclines the chair so your knees sit above your heart rather than just your feet. If lower back tension or circulation is the reason you are shopping, that is worth the difference and we would tell you to spend it. If you want a good infinite position chair and the massage would go unused, buy the Radiance and put the money somewhere else. One small thing worth knowing: the Ultra's remote stores one memory position. The Radiance and the Tranquil 2 store two.

What is not covered
Fabric is not covered. Pride does not pay for labor, service calls, shipping, or other charges incurred to repair the chair unless Pride authorizes them in advance. Transportation costs, and any shipping damage that happens while parts are sent in for repair or replacement, are the purchaser's responsibility.
The warranty also does not cover circumstances beyond Pride's control, or repairs and modifications made to any part without Pride's consent. Damage is not covered when it comes from contamination, abuse, misuse, accident or negligence, battery fluid spillage or leakage, improper operation, maintenance or storage, or commercial use or use other than normal.
If something goes wrong
Call us first at 1-855-HIELINE. We file the claim with Pride Mobility for you and get the covered part sorted out rather than handing you a phone number. The base warranty covers parts, so ask us about service and labor options when you call.

Lift chairs cannot be returned. New or used, a lift chair is a personal medical device built and configured specifically for the person who ordered it. That is why every size and fabric figure is on this page, and why we answer questions before you place the order.

Pride matches the size to the user's height. Small suits 5'4" and below, Medium suits 5'5" to 6', and Large suits 6' and above. Seat width runs 20" on the Small, 22.5" on the Medium and 23" on the Large, so check that against the widest part of your hips before you decide.
Both are standard on this chair. The heat system uses three pads, in the shoulders, the lumbar and the seat, with three heat levels. The massage works the lower back with three intensity settings. The buttons for both sit inside the armrest.
It is a seat position exclusive to the Ultra that raises your knees above your heart. It is separate from the true-infinite recline, which already holds any angle between upright and fully reclined with the backrest and the footrest moving independently.
Overall width is 37" on the Small and 39" on the Medium and the Large. The chair needs 15" of clearance behind it on the Small and the Medium, and 21.5" on the Large. Overall height runs 41", 43" and 47" across the three sizes.
The chair keeps working. A lithium battery backup runs it through a power cut, including raising it to the standing position. The battery pack carries a 12 month warranty.
Capriccio in Cappuccino, Dove, Slate or Smoke is offered in all three sizes. Trento in Brown or Charcoal is offered on the Medium and the Large. Sorrento leather in Coffee is offered on the Medium. Choose the one you want under Fabric above the price. The picture changes to the fabric you pick, and every fabric costs the same. Fabrics that your size does not take will not be offered once you pick the size.
No. A lift chair is built and configured for one person, so it cannot be returned once it ships, and a white glove delivery you have signed for is final. Check the size and the fabric before you order.

Height comes first because it sets where the seat, the back and the footrest meet your body. Then check the seat width, which runs 20" on the Small, 22.5" on the Medium and 23" on the Large. Measure the widest part of your hips and leave yourself room on both sides.
Last, check the room itself. The chair is 37 to 39" wide overall. It needs 15" of clearance behind it on the Small and the Medium, and 21.5" on the Large, which is the one figure people are caught out by. The Large also weighs 176 lbs.

Curbside is the free option. The lift chair ships from the manufacturer straight to your address. Allow about two to three days for the order to be processed and shipped, then about five more in transit depending on where you live. No carrier in this trade quotes an exact date, so treat both figures as estimates rather than promises. It arrives boxed at the curb, and getting it inside is yours to arrange.
Inside delivery means we bring it just inside your front door or into the garage, still in its packaging.
White glove takes a different route. It does not come to your address first. It ships to the delivery technician nearest you, and once it arrives there the technician calls you and books a time that suits you, then brings it into your home, sets it up in the room you choose, checks it for shipping damage and takes all the packaging away. That extra leg adds a few days, and the date is settled between you and the technician, so we cannot give you one up front.
Which one you take is up to you. Some people are glad to unpack a new lift chair and set it up themselves. Others would rather it arrived working, in the room they want it, with the packaging gone. Both are good reasons, and each card shows what it costs.
