The Prime Safety Bed Rail pairs a 27" guard rail against falls with a bariatric support handle rated to 400 lbs. The handle lifts off its base when you want the side of the bed clear. It stands 18.5" above the mattress base on a 19.5" by 28.5" board that slides under the mattress, fits a 6" to 15" mattress, and comes with an organizer pouch.

What stands out
This is the only bed rail Stander rates to 400 lbs. Every other rail in the line stops at 300. You get a 27" guard rail standing 18.5" above the mattress base on a 19.5 by 28.5" base plate, a bariatric support handle, and that handle lifts out when you want full access to the bed.
What you give up is adjustment and a little fit. The rail is fixed at 27", so it does not extend the way the EZ Adjust or either Click-N-Go rail does, and it takes mattresses 6 to 15" where the 30" Safety Bed Rail takes 6 to 16. At $175 it is the second dearest rail here, and at 15.7 lbs. it is one of the heavier ones.
If you need more than 300 lbs. of rated support, this is the only rail on the page that gives it, and the removable handle is a real bonus. If 300 lbs. is enough and you want more rail for less money, look at the Wonder Pivot Bed Rail.
