Which length do I need?
Measure the rise from the ground to the top of the step or landing. The ADA's 1:12 slope needs 1' of ramp for every 1" of rise. PVI rates its portable ramps for up to 2" of rise per 1' of ramp with an occupied chair or scooter and a helper, and up to 3" per 1' only when loading an empty chair or scooter. Your chair or scooter manual may set a lower limit, and that limit comes first.
Does it need a contractor?
PVI says the OnTrac installs in minutes. It hooks to the top step or landing with its bolted hook and needs no concrete work.
Can I get the ADA extended handrail?
PVI offers it on request. It is not part of the price on this page.
