This is the PVI ramp for the short jobs: a curb, a single step, a raised doorway or the lip of a porch. It folds in half and closes like a suitcase, so the 4' at 22 lbs. goes in a trunk and comes out at the next stop without a second person. The whole 30" width is one high traction surface, which suits three wheel scooters that would drop a wheel off a track style ramp. Measure the rise first, since the rise decides the length and the length decides the price.

Which length do I need?
Measure the rise from the ground to the top of the step or landing. The ADA's 1:12 slope needs 1' of ramp for every 1" of rise. PVI rates its portable ramps for up to 2" of rise per 1' of ramp with an occupied chair or scooter and a helper, and up to 3" per 1' only when loading an empty chair or scooter. Your chair or scooter manual may set a lower limit, and that limit comes first.
Does every length have a handle?
The 3' to 6' lengths have a carry handle. The 2' does not.
How is it held in place?
PVI supplies steel security pins to anchor the top of the ramp to the step or landing. Always secure the top before use.
Will it fit a scooter with three wheels?
Yes. The platform is solid across its full 30" width, so the front wheel of a three wheel scooter has surface under it.
