The Solid Ramp is for the step you cross every day. With no hinge to open or line up, it goes down and gets used, and there is no hinge to wear. The 3' x 30" is 15 lbs., so it still moves easily when you need to clear the entry. Pick the 36" width if the chair is wide or someone walks beside it, and pick a folding ramp instead if the ramp has to travel in a car.

Ramps cannot be returned. Measure the rise and check the length or height on this page against it before you order. If it arrives damaged or defective, tell us within 48 hours of delivery and we will get it repaired or replaced at no cost to you.

Which length do I need?
Measure the rise from the ground to the top of the step or landing. The ADA's 1:12 slope needs 1' of ramp for every 1" of rise. PVI rates its portable ramps for up to 2" of rise per 1' of ramp with an occupied chair or scooter and a helper, and up to 3" per 1' only when loading an empty chair or scooter. Your chair or scooter manual may set a lower limit, and that limit comes first.
Why are only four sizes listed?
We list the 3' x 30", 3' x 36", 4' x 30" and 5' x 36" sizes.
Which width should I choose?
Measure the chair or scooter at its widest point. The 30" suits most, and the 36" gives more room for wide seats, wide wheelbases and a helper.
