What stands out
The Stander Step exists for the two places a bed rail cannot help: a bed that is too high to get into, and a shelf that is too high to reach. It gives you a 32" long platform to stand on and handles to hold while you do it. The ratings are separate and both are worth knowing. The anti-slip platform holds 500 lbs. The handles hold 300 lbs. The platform sits 4.25" to 7.75" off the floor and the handles adjust from 27" to 32", so you can set them for pushing up or for steadying yourself once you are up. The motion-activated LED light is more useful than it sounds, because most of the trips this thing prevents happen at night. At 30 lbs. it stays where you put it rather than moving room to room.
