The GoRise FC is an electric floor lift. Its seat lowers to 1.2" off the floor and rises to 20.8", it carries up to 400 lbs., and it runs on its battery or plugged into the wall.
A powered seat that lowers to 1.2" off the floor, takes a person who has fallen or cannot get up, and raises them to chair height at 20.8".
What stands out
The GoRise FC is for the moment when someone is on the floor and cannot get up, and the person helping cannot lift them safely. The seat drops to 1.2" off the floor and slopes, so the person slides back onto it instead of being lifted onto it. You fasten the safety belt, fold the armrests down and hold the up button on the wired remote, and the seat rises at 0.4" per second to as high as 20.8", which is about the height of a chair seat. It carries 400 lbs. and weighs 56 lbs., and it rolls on 5" casters with a handle at the top, so one person can bring it to another room. SuperHandy rates the battery for more than 20 lifts on a charge, and the lift also runs from its power adapter. The trade is height, because the FC stops at chair height. If the person needs to come up closer to standing, or to the height of a bed or a car seat, the GoRise FS rises to 28.7" and the GoRise TX to 28.5".
