What stands out
The GoRise FS is the taller and stronger of the two GoRise seat lifts. Like the GoRise FC, its sloped seat drops to 1.2" off the floor so a person who has fallen can slide back onto it. The difference is the top of the travel. The FS rises to 28.7", which is 7.9" higher than the FC, so the person ends up close to standing height instead of chair height. That matters for someone tall, for a high bed, and for a person who finds it hard to push up from a low seat. It carries 500 lbs. and weighs 66.4 lbs., and it rolls on 5" casters with a handle at the top. SuperHandy rates the battery for more than 20 lifts on a charge, and the lift also runs from its power adapter. The FS has two casters and a transport handle for moving the lift itself. If you need to roll the person a short distance on the seat, the GoRise TX has four wheels and locking casters for that.
