A padded cushion for the Model R seat, adding support and comfort on a longer ride. It sits on the existing seat rather than replacing it, so the change is reversible whenever you want.
A padded seat cushion for the WHILL Model R mobility scooter.
What stands out
The Model R seat is firm, which is what you want for support and not what you want for two hours at a market. This cushion is the middle ground: it adds padding on top without replacing the seat, so it comes off on days you do not want it and goes back on for a long outing. It is worth thinking about together with the arm pads, because seat and armrest pressure tend to arrive on the same trip. If you sit for long stretches most days, rather than occasionally, a pressure-relief cushion from a seating specialist is a different and better answer than a comfort pad.
Straight talk
Is it right for you?
A good fit if you
- find the standard seat firm on a long outing
- want padding you can take off again
- own a Model R 3-Wheel or 4-Wheel
Look elsewhere if you
- need a pressure relief cushion for a medical reason
- own a Model C2 or a Model F, because this cushion does not fit either
The WHILL Model R Seat Cushion is covered by WHILL's own limited warranty. Call 1-855-HIELINE or email care@hieline.com and a specialist will send you the current terms in full.
