Click to zoomWHILL Model R Underseat Basket
A basket that fits under the seat of a Model R, out of your way and out of the wind. It takes the heavier things the 8.8 lbs. front tiller basket will not, and it leaves your line of sight clear.
An underseat storage basket for the WHILL Model R 3-Wheel and 4-Wheel.
What stands out
Most Model R owners want both baskets, and it is worth understanding why before you pick one. The front basket sits on the tiller where you can see it and lifts off to carry indoors, but it is limited to 8.8 lbs. The underseat basket is the one that takes weight, and it puts that weight low and central, which is better for how a three-wheel scooter handles on a camber. The trade is reach: you are not getting into this one while you are moving. Buy the underseat basket for the shopping and the front basket for the handbag, and keep the phone somewhere you can actually reach it.
Straight talk
Is it right for you?
A good fit if you
- carry shopping on the scooter
- want the weight low and out of your sight line
- own a Model R 3-Wheel or 4-Wheel
Look elsewhere if you
- want to reach your things while you are moving, which is the front basket
- own a Model C2 or a Model F, because this part does not fit either
The WHILL Model R Underseat Basket is covered by WHILL's own limited warranty. Call 1-855-HIELINE or email care@hieline.com and a specialist will send you the current terms in full.
