What stands out
This is the only rail Stander builds for an adjustable base, and it is the cheapest and the lightest in the line. It extends 23 to 30", weighs 8 lbs. against 10 to 17 lbs. for every other rail here, mounts with the hardware in the box, and costs $89. It passed the ASTM F3186-17 standard for adult portable bed rails.
The fit is narrow and you need to check it before you buy. It works on wooden adjustable base beds with a 10 to 12" mattress. It does not fit metal bed frames at all. It also sits 17.5" above the mattress base, the lowest of the ten rails, where the 30" Safety Bed Rail sits at 23". The handle is fixed, so it does not lift out of the way.
If you have a wooden adjustable base and a 10 to 12" mattress, this is the one made for your bed. If your frame is metal or your mattress falls outside that range, look at the 30" Safety Bed Rail, which takes 6 to 16". If you want the handle to come off, look at the Click-N-Go Extendable Bed Rail.
