What stands out
The Pivot is the rail to buy when you want length and you want the bedside clear. It sets to 26, 32 or 38.5", and 38.5 is the longest rail Stander makes, against a fixed 30" on the 30" Safety Bed Rail and 30" at full extension on both Click-N-Go rails. The railing pivots down 180 degrees, so it drops away rather than needing to be lifted off.
What you give up is height and mattress range. It stands 18" above the mattress base, where the 30" Safety Bed Rail sits at 23 and the Pivot Tall at 22, and it fits mattresses 8 to 12" thick against 6 to 16 on the 30" rail. It weighs 15 lbs. and carries 300 lbs.
If you want the longest rail and a bedside that clears without removing anything, this is the one at $150. If your mattress is thicker than 12", or you want a taller rail, the Wonder Pivot Bed Rail Tall gives the same three lengths at 22" and fits up to 16" for $20 more.
